Nicola’s journey from journalist and campaigner to fitness advocate reflects her unwavering passion for driving meaningful, positive change. She founded Move Happy Fitness to share her unique approach to holistic and intuitive training—transforming not just how we exercise, but how we think and feel about fitness.
As a dedicated Personal Trainer and Group Instructor, Nicola champions the strength and resilience of the human body. She is deeply committed to helping others experience the profound benefits of regular exercise and self-care, empowering them to lead healthier, more fulfilled lives.
A lifelong lover of sport and fitness, Nicola earned her first qualification as a Fitness Instructor in 2014. Since then, she has expanded her expertise, leading dynamic group classes for women of all ages—including those in their 90s and even up to 101! Alongside group instruction, Nicola offers tailored, one-on-one personal training for individuals and families, as well as retreat days, team away days, and specialist workshops designed to support women navigating the menopause transition.
Nicola’s growing passion for the connection between physical activity and mental well-being inspired her to earn a specialist award in Mental Health Awareness. This additional expertise allows her to take a truly holistic approach to fitness, nurturing both the body and mind to help her clients thrive.
